The Internal Revenue Service paid this Friday (30) the third batch of the 2021 Individual Income Tax refund for 5 million taxpayers, in the total amount of R$ 5.8 billion.
Of those who now receive, 4,913,343 have filed their declarations by May 18, and the rest have legal priority: 13,985 elderly people over 80 years old, 95,298 between 60 and 79 years old, 8,987 with a physical or mental disability or serious illness and 36,616 whose The biggest source of income is that received by the teaching profession.
The consultation can be carried out through the IRS website, in which the taxpayer must click on “My Income Tax” and then on “Consultar Restitution”.

On the portal it is possible to know if there are any pending issues that are blocking the payment of the refund. You can also do the procedure through the My Income Tax app, available for Android and iOS smartphones.
The refund amount will be deposited in the bank account informed by the taxpayer on the Income Tax Declaration. If, for any reason, the money cannot be transferred to the account informed, the amount will be available at Banco do Brasil for up to one year.
The refund payment is divided into five lots, paid on May 31st, June 30th, July 30th, August 31st and September 30th.
