A demonstration called to support President Jair Bolsonaro (no party) brought together less than 40 people on the Esplanada dos Ministérios, in Brasília, this Sunday morning (12). The protest had a sound car and was stopped between the National Museum and the Cathedral of Brasília.
Even with the low number of supporters of the federal government, the Military Police of the Federal District (PM-DF) closed the region to car traffic, as is customary in the days of large demonstrations in the capital.
The corporation did not release an estimate of the public, but the brasilienses newspapers “Metrópoles” and “Poder360” followed suit. in loco the movement of the Pocketnaristas and they stated that the audience present at the act did not exceed 40 people.

In a statement, the Public Security Secretariat of the Federal District stated that the Esplanade was banned because the concentration of the pro-government movement anticipated agglomeration from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm and that the blockade was scheduled regardless of the number of people present.
Later, also on the Esplanada dos Ministérios, there will be an event called by the MBL (Movimento Brasil Livre) and by the VPR (Vem Pra Rua), scheduled to start at 3 pm and end at 7 pm. Without the presence of the PT and the main trade union centrals, the demonstrations began to be emptied in the capitals where they took place in the morning, such as Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte.
