Brazil recorded this Sunday (22) 318 deaths linked to covid-19, according to what informs the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass).
In the same period, 14,404 new cases of the disease were registered. Since the beginning of the pandemic, in March of last year, the total number of reported infections in the country has reached 20,570,891, and the officially identified deaths are 574,527.
Health authorities and institutions warn, however, that the real numbers should be even higher due to the lack of large-scale testing and underreporting.
