Senator Flávio Bolsonaro, son of the President of the Republic, would have participated in a parallel negotiation for the purchase of an American vaccine, Vaxxinity, which is still in the testing phase. The vaccine is not approved by the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) or any foreign health agency.

The negotiation would have taken place during a trip by the congressman in June this year to the USA, as indicated by an exchange of emails obtained by IstoÉ magazine.

Flávio Bolsonaro was in the US accompanying the Minister of Communications between the 7th and 10th of June this year, where they worked on schedules in New York and Washington. On the 9th, the president’s son received an email from the lawyer Stelvio Bruni Rosi, addressed to his office, with the title “Flávio Bolsonaro — Covid-19 Vaccine — USA Meeting with Empresa Laboratório Americano”.
