Candidates selected on the waiting list of the University for All Program (Prouni) have until this Friday (27) to prove the information provided during enrollment to the educational institution.
It is the applicant’s entire responsibility to verify, at the institution, the times and place of attendance to confirm the data. Missing the deadline or not proving the information will result in disapproval of the registration application.
According to information provided by Prouni, upon receiving the candidate’s documentation, the institution must, obligatorily, deliver a receipt protocol. Even so, it is necessary to be aware that this procedure does not rule out any requirement to deliver additional documents, if deemed necessary by the program coordinator at the institution.
The list of those called up on the waiting list has been available on the Prouni website since Friday of last week (20).
ProUni was created in 2005, during Lula’s (PT) administration. The program selects students based on the grades of the National Secondary Education Examination (Enem). Candidates who do not have a university degree and who have participated in the last Enem with a grade of at least 450 points in the average of the exam grades, and a grade above zero in the essay, can apply.
In addition, the student must have completed high school in a public school; or in a private school with a full scholarship from the school itself or being a person with a disability.
Scholarships can be awarded to students with a gross family income of up to 1.5 minimum wages per person and to students with a gross family income of up to 3 minimum wages per person. For partial grants (50%), the monthly gross family income must be up to three minimum wages per person.
